Five TDs Guides & Walkthroughs

Every FNTD 2 tutorial in one place — from day one to ranked climbs.

Last updated:

Welcome to the Five Nights TD 2 guides hub on Five TDs. Hyper TD’s Roblox tower defense sequel rewards players who learn the loop early: claim codes, summon smart, clear Game 1 nights, feed and evolve units, then push Enchantments, Bytes, mode-specific teams, and raid shop goals. This page is your map. Use it to jump into the right deep dive instead of bouncing between Discord threads and outdated screenshots.

Start here if you are new

Day-one players should open Getting Started first. That walkthrough covers the opening checklist — redeeming codes, basic summons, Tokens and Souls, Faz-Rating, feeding and evolving, plus a teaser for Workshop enchanting. Pair it with How to Play so you understand placement off the path, upgrades during waves, voting to start, elements, and the Fazcade farm role before you burn premium currency. When you are ready to spend Tokens on purpose, read Summoning for banner costs, pity, and present-versus-banner strategy.

If you already finished the tutorial nights and feel stuck on damage or economy, skip ahead to Enchantments and the enchant priority tier list. Enchant rolls cost Souls; wasting them on temporary starters slows every later mode. Once keepers are online, equip and Agonize Bytes so Box, Kaboom, Boss Drain, Reaper, Pearl, and Bee actually sit on the units you place.

Mode, systems, and team guides

Story clears, Endless pushes, AFK presents, Boss Raids, and Ranked PvP ask for different lineups and currencies even when the unit names overlap. Use these pages together:

  • Endless Mode — long-run goals, farm timing, placement for late waves, when to cash out rewards, and caution around AFK or macro abuse.
  • AFK Mode — chamber night selection for better Tokens/XP, AFK 1/2/3 Presents, VIP faster claims, and safe official farming tips.
  • Boss Raids — Raid Coins, shop presents, Boss Drain Byte, Remnants, modifiers, wave-10 bosses, and wave-50 map swaps.
  • Bytes — obtain paths, Agonize with Remnants, and which Byte belongs on which carry.
  • Summoning — Tokens pulls, rarities through Nightmare/Apex/Secret, pity, and when to save for featured banners.
  • Best Teams — 3–4 DPS plus 2–3 support/farm compositions from early Toy units through late meta cores like Headless Horseman Mangle, Dreadbear, and Party Glock Freddy.
  • PvP Guide — split-map ranked play, sending waves, trophies and ELO, bans, and climbing out of Bronze.

Cross-check every recommendation against the live Tier List Hub and Best Units rankings. Meta shifts after seasonal banners and balance patches; the guides explain why a unit works so you can adapt when a new Nightmare or event unit lands.

How to use this wiki efficiently

  1. Redeem active codes before long sessions so Tokens, Souls, AFK presents, and Bytes bank early.
  2. Clear early story nights with cheap reliable DPS while you bank pity and Faz-Rating.
  3. Put Investor-style value on farm when you enter Endless; keep Haywire and Damage III for ability and DPS cores.
  4. Park in AFK Mode when you are away; push Boss Raids when you need Raid Coins and Remnants.
  5. Build one story team and one Endless/PvP flex instead of spreading feed across every shiny pull.
  6. Revisit Best Teams, Bytes, and Enchantments after each major update.

Internal links on every guide use locale-agnostic paths with trailing slashes so French, German, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese pages stay consistent after generate. Prefer reading a full guide mid-session rather than cherry-picking one tip — FNTD 2 punishes half-learned habits more than missing a single unit.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Five TDs players on Roblox.

Which Five Nights TD 2 guide should I read first?

Start with Getting Started for codes, summons, Tokens, Souls, and Faz-Rating, then How to Play for placement and upgrades. Move to Summoning and Enchantments once you have keepers worth spending Tokens and Souls on.

Do these guides cover Endless, AFK, Boss Raids, and Ranked PvP separately?

Yes. Endless Mode, AFK Mode, Boss Raids, and the PvP guide are dedicated pages. Best Teams and the unit tier list call out story versus long-mode versus PvP differences so you do not copy one lineup everywhere.

Where do enchant and Byte recommendations live?

Use Enchantments for Workshop rolls and the Bytes guide for Box, Kaboom, Boss Drain, Reaper, Pearl, Bee, and Agonize with Remnants. Damage III, Haywire, Investor, and Boss Drain on raid carries are common defaults.

How often should I revisit the Guides Hub?

After each seasonal banner or balance patch, re-open Best Teams, Best Units, Bytes, Boss Raids, and Enchantments. The hub links stay stable even when the meta inside those pages changes.

Are codes part of the guide path?

Yes. Getting Started, Summoning, AFK Mode, and Bytes all point to the Codes Hub so you claim Tokens, Souls, AFK presents, and Byte bundles before long grinds. Always redeem active codes at the start of a session.

Where should I go for summons and pity?

Read the Summoning guide for Token costs, rarity bands, presents versus banners, and when to save. Cross-check keepers on Best Units and the Units roster before dumping a large bank.
